Syncplify Server! MCP adapter (ss-mcp) 1.0.0

ss-mcp connects an AI agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol (Claude Desktop, Claude Code,
Cursor, Visual Studio Code and others) to the management API of a Syncplify Server! 8.8.0 or newer.
The agent can do exactly what the automation token the adapter runs with can do, nothing more:
read tools for View permissions, write tools for Edit permissions, and every write is previewed as
a server side dry run and confirmed before it happens. The adapter administers the server; it never
reads or lists files.

Install
Put the ss-mcp executable in a directory on your PATH, for example /usr/local/bin on Linux or
C:\Program Files\ss-mcp on Windows, and run "ss-mcp --version".

Configure
Create an automation token in the Admin or SuperAdmin console of your server (Automation, Tokens),
then have your MCP client start the adapter with

    ss-mcp --server https://your.server:6443 --plane adm

(--plane sa for a SuperAdmin token) and the token in the SS_MCP_TOKEN environment variable. The
token is never accepted on the command line. "ss-mcp --check" with the same settings prints the
token's scopes and the tools the agent will see.
